LIFE IS TOUGH. Between your issues and other people’s issues, a girl can feel stressed. But here are a few tips on managing the load!

Learn how to say, "no." – Master the art of setting healthy limits on your time and expended energy. God didn’t create you to be “all things to all people.” If you try to be, you’ll run yourself into the ground. Your time and health is your most precious asset. So hold on to them tightly.

Limit the time. – If someone consistently stresses you out, and you are unable to establish a healthy relationship with them, limit the amount of time you spend with them. You can love someone while protecting yourself.

Take control of your environment. – If certain environmental factors make you anxious, change your environment. For example, play your favorite worship song while driving in traffic. That will help temper your road rage.

Avoid hot-button topics. – If you get enraged while discussing politics, Uncle Bubba, and 1 Timothy (chapter 2), consider avoiding those conversational topics. Your blood pressure will thank you.

Trim your to-do list. – None of us is Super Woman, and all of us should stop pretending that we are. If you have too much on your plate, trim the fat. Eliminate tasks that are not necessary, and prioritize the ones that are. Although multi-tasking is a popular idea, studies have consistently shown that tackling one task at a time is far more efficient. c
